Why use the tool?
Taking an honest and holistic look at how your business operates will help you raise the standards you have previously been reaching.
The key areas of proficiency
The Virtual Adviser tool will analyse your attitude to, and performance in, the seven key areas of proficiency critical to business development and growth.
The seven key areas of proficiency are leadership, customers, financial, people, products, markets, and operations.
You will be asked a few questions in each of these areas, with questions designed to challenge perceptions across all aspects of your business performance and identify aspects that you could improve upon.
Based on your answers you will receive a set of actions to work on, and you will also receive links to resources and events that can help you.
Finally, hold yourself accountable and set actions for yourself or members of your team. You can print of the Action Plan within your bespoke report or keep track of your actions within your unique business profile on the Buckinghamshire Business First website.
Don’t forget - our business support team is here to assist at any stage of your business journey so get your 15 minute business boost now and open up a whole new world of business support!
Get £150 towards workplace training
To make the Virtual Adviser even more effective for your business, Buckinghamshire Business First has teamed up with our skills partner Adviza to offer training vouchers worth £150 to go towards training to help you grow.
The funding for this comes from the European Social Fund, so we’ll ask a few questions at the beginning of the process to determine if you’re eligible. If your business is not eligible for funding this won’t prevent you from using the Virtual Adviser tool.
The first 100 eligible businesses to complete the Virtual Adviser get an additional £50 towards training - so don’t delay!
