As a branch from our Bucks Skills Hub project, we run an online jobs board for young people in Bucks to find work experience, apprenticeships and jobs called WANNABEbucks.org

Since launching the site just over a year ago we've had a lot of interest in work experience from our users which is why we are working to help more businesses get in a position to offer work experience to young people. 

Taking on people for work experience isn't a long process as business owners imagine, but yet it can be very beneficial as we have seen from some of the businesses who have advertised and recruited for their placements on our website.  They report back to us that they enjoy taking in eager young people who reduce the workload in busy periods and bring a fresh perspective to the workplace. It can also be beneficial to the staff they work directly with as it develops your staffs communication skills and understand of their own job as they teach the young person.

Posting your work experience vacancy on the site is free of charge and only requires you to fill out two simple forms, and once approved you will receive applications to your inbox for you to follow up on.
