Wilkins Kennedy appoint new Director to advise SMEs

A Buckinghamshire-based business advisory and accounting firm has further bolstered its expertise in banking and finance consultancy with a key appointment.

Mark Barrie, who has more than 20 years’ experience working in the corporate and commercial banking sector, has joined Wilkins Kennedy as Director of their banking and finance team at the firm’s offices on Boston Drive in Bourne End and Bell Lane Office Village in Amersham.

He joins Wilkins Kennedy after nearly two decades at NatWest and RBS where he worked with thousands of SME businesses to access funding, analyse financial risks and overcome financial difficulty.

Barrie then set up his own consultancy three years ago – Integral Advisory Services - to support the growth of the South East SME business community before joining Wilkins Kennedy.

His new role will see him advising SME clients and non-clients on suitable ways to access traditional and alternative finance to support growth, expansion and restructuring whilst also assessing whether existing funding meets their needs.
