Can your business help solve the biggest issues facing our public sector?

We are giving you advance notice of a game-changing new programme that gives businesses a golden opportunity to help solve the biggest societal challenges facing Buckinghamshire’s public sector.

Challenge Works encourages businesses to use the power of innovation to create solutions to key societal challenges.

We know that businesses want to do their bit in tackling social issues, and the private sector is uniquely placed to do this with its skills, experience and technologies.

How does it work?

We will give you specific details of the challenges facing Buckinghamshire and create a space for you and fellow businesses to think about how your ideas, products and services can help to solve them.

The challenges have come directly from the public sector, so these are real, current issues facing Buckinghamshire.

What types of areas will these challenges cover?

We will be running a number of workshops focused on finding solutions in areas including:

  • Retail
  • Education
  • Health and social care
  • Sustainability and carbon reduction
  • Productivity and manufacturing
  • Digital and technology

You’ll be given the opportunity to work closely with academics at Buckinghamshire New University and access grant funding to bring your product or service to life.
