Home Instead recognised with Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Home Instead Senior Care has received the UK’s highest accolade for business success - the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the field of innovation.

The award from Her Majesty The Queen recognises their brand’s contribution to society, which helps thousands of elderly people continue to live in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, happily and healthily for as long as possible.

The award organisers recognised the relevance and the benefits of clients receiving care visits of a minimum one hour in duration, delivered by familiar Caregivers who are hand-picked to work with clients based on shared interests.

Director Lee Harrington is proud to have delivered Home Instead’s service locally across Aylesbury and North East Oxfordshire since September 2013 and continue to grow the team to reach more people who could benefit from a service underpinned by companionship.

Chiltern Relocation with double win at The Lettings Agency of the Year Awards

The multi award-winning Managing Director of Chiltern Relocation, Sharon Hewitt, is celebrating after being honoured with the Best Relocation Agent Gold Award at The Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2016.

On 10 June 2016 over 500 leading property professionals attended a lavish luncheon at The Lancaster London Hotel where the winners were presented with their prize by rugby and Olympic leadership legend Sir Clive Woodward, with renowned journalist, author and newsreader Penny Smith acting as compere.

Those shortlisted were subjected to a rigorous assessment process including a telephone interview and mystery shop visits by the judges who were made up of a panel of 20 industry experts and overseen by Property Ombudsman Katrine Sporle.

Now in its seventh year, the competition was fiercer than ever leaving Sharon thrilled to hear Chiltern Relocation had won. Sharon says:

“We are delighted to have been given this award, especially as we won Gold last year, and it is great for my team to be recognised as the experts in their field. Receiving the award was such an honour.”

Enterprise Marketing Solutions celebrate a decade in business with a new home

Enterprise Marketing Solutions, the multi-award-winning strategic marketing agency, celebrated its 10th birthday on 20 May, welcoming clients, suppliers and partners to their new office within ATG Training on Smeaton Close in Aylesbury.

Karen Moule, Managing Director said: “It’s been a steady growth trajectory to get to this point, but now with our four-man crew, great clients and ongoing projects, we needed bigger premises and a dedicated meeting space. We’re delighted to be moving in with the ATG team, who we’ve known for many years.

“We’re thrilled to be thriving in this post-recession climate and are looking forward to continuing our steady expansion from our new home”.

Stoke Park’s Executive Chef to make Great British Menu debut

Chris Wheeler, Stoke Park’s award winning Executive Chef, will make his Great British Menu debut when the BBC 2 show hits TV screens later in the year.

Chris’ passion, enthusiasm and culinary excellence was spotted and nurtured from a young age by celebrated Chef Jean Christophe-Novelli. Chris worked alongside Novelli and was his right-hand man for ten years, where he learned a great deal and gained even more experience and developed his passion for food.

Chris joined Stoke Park in 2003 and has been building up the culinary reputation since, achieving 3 AA Rosettes for the fine-dining restaurant Humphry’s, as well as overseeing the entire culinary operation.

This year the Great British Menu is making history by being the first TV show to be filmed in the Palace of Westminster. And the winner will be given the prestigious prize of cooking at the banquet in honour of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II's 'Great Britons.'

Wilkins Kennedy takes over two companies in a month

Accountancy firm Wilkins Kennedy has taken over JR Antoine & Partners and merged the business with its office in Amersham. As a result of the merger, Wilkins Kennedy will take on four new members of staff, two senior accountants, a tax manager and an admin assistant.

Stephen Grant, managing partner at Wilkins Kennedy Amersham, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer clients the additional benefits and range of services that Wilkins Kennedy can provide whilst maintaining the same high quality service clients have been used to at JR Antoine & Partners."

Richard King, partner at JR Antoine & Partners, added: "We are a thriving company that has been located in Amersham for decades. Due to the retirement of a senior partner, we were looking for a firm that could help us continue our growth and Wilkins Kennedy was an excellent match. We are very much looking forward to working with Stephen and the team."

Last month, Wilkins Kennedy expanded with the takeover of Surrey-based Half Penny Accountants.
