Most of the government funding for training goes into apprenticeships which can be used to upskill existing employers. Depending on the training you have in mind, this could be a possibility. Another route to explore could be through the National Skills Fund which guarantees everyone the opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification if they don't already have one.
