Gordon spent his early career in sales and marketing, and then moved to running retail buying teams – which is where his love of the art and science of negotiation began. As a negotiation consultant for many years he has trained 1000’s of people on the subject, and helped companies and individuals all over the world with their negotiations. He now runs his own leadership development business – helping small and medium sized business leaders be the best they can be.
What will be covered?
A thought-provoking session on the key skill of negotiation. We negotiate all the time; with family and friends, with colleagues, with customers and suppliers – it is there all the time. The session will help you reflect on your own negotiations and the behaviours you have used, and give you some takeaways to try new things.
What you can take away from the session -
- Separate your feelings from your behaviour
- Find and create value
- Recognise you need to adjust your behaviour depending on the situation
- There is no right or wrong
