The sales role can feel uncomfortable and awkward - with many employees working in small businesses having minimal experience in sales and closing a deal ....yet, selling is crucial to any business's success.
This half-day online workshop will give you the skills to effectively improve sales in your business including looking at:
- Who is currently selling in your business?
- Profiling of an effective salesperson
- Key skills for the best salespeople
- Working with Marketing
Who is the workshop for?
Anyone working in a small business who needs to develop a fresh approach to lead generation, structuring the conversation and closing the deal.
What will you get out of it?
This workshop will help you to:
- Challenge yourself, or those responsible for selling, on whether all the potential selling assets in their business are being utilised fully - especially from other ‘non-sales’ parts of the business.
- Gain some practical tips on how you can leverage the power of Marketing to ensure that it supports your selling effort.
- Consider the ideal personal traits of a good salesperson as well as a look at some of those traits that you might wish to avoid! This could be useful if you wish to promote from within, are recruiting or simply trying to improve your own skills.
- Consider a basic sales process that you can use within your own business and which encompasses the core steps and actions that a salesperson should take in order to get a positive outcome.
- Discover the ways in which you can ensure that the sales function adds value to the wider business, far beyond the value of the sales that you generate.
