Voice of the Industry Engineering Education Workshop

Voice of the Industry Engineering Education Workshop

Buckinghamshire College Group would like to invite you to participate in an initial TEAMs Meeting – Voice of the Industry Engineering Education Workshop. The aim is to partner with Engineering Employers to create a robust and industry-relevant engineering education programme.

The Local Skills Improvement Plan 2023 highlighted a lack of engineering provision in Buckinghamshire. In response to this, Buckinghamshire College Group is introducing engineering courses to its curriculum starting in 2025. Collaborating with Bucks New University, the aim is to deliver a comprehensive and connected approach to engineering education.

Workshop Objectives:

1. Skills Alignment: - Ensure that engineering students acquire skills aligned with the needs of Buckinghamshire’s engineering sector.

2. Industry Insights: - Collaborate with employers to shape the curriculum ensuring that educational content meets the diverse demands of businesses within the engineering field.

Prior to the meeting, we kindly request your participation in a short questionnaire regarding your business’s required skills and recruitment needs for the next 5 years. Your valuable insights will contribute significantly to our programme development. Please access the questionnaire using the following link:
