Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual that has experience in the supervisory role to join our dynamic team.

Not only will you lead the ASYE programme, but you will also support and coach candidates in ‘returning to social work’, our social work apprenticeship scheme, occupational therapy students. We expect the role to include both clinical, and well-being supervisory sessions, direct observations, the planning and delivery of professional practice workshops, and linking closely with locality managers and colleagues to ensure wrap around support for our cohorts.

The successful candidate will be supported in their role through targeted managerial CPD activities that are available through our learning platforms, while also receiving mentoring support from their allocated line manager.

Person Specification

Essential:

You will be a driven individual with proven supervisory, mentoring, and coaching experience. The successful post holder must hold a professional qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

You must have excellent communication skills which help build professional relationships with staff members that present different levels of expertise.

You will need to be highly organised, motivated and knowledgeable in relevant legislation and case work.
