Have you been away from social work for a while and looking to restore your social work registration and update your skills? Are you ready to make a positive impact in to our community? Our Return to Social Work Programme is designed just for you!

Our Return to Social Work Programme is specifically tailored for individuals who have previously held registration with Social Work England and are ready to return to the profession.

Our programme is tailored to help former social workers re-enter the field with confidence.

With dedicated support and resources, we are committed to empowering you on your professional development journey as you reintegrate into the rewarding field of social work. Join us and take the next step towards revitalizing your career!

Stay updated and learn about the requirements based on your time out of practice. Make sure your skills are recognised and updated.

Our support includes:

  • Supervised Practice: Work alongside experienced social workers.
  • Formal Study: Enrol in accredited courses and training programs.
  • Private Study: Engage in self-directed learning through reading and reflection.
  • Flexible learning opportunities to tailor your development based on your individual needs.

About you

Our Return to Social Work Programme is aimed at individuals who have previously been registered with Social Work England and are looking to re-join the register. We are offering this programme to support you in your development journey, providing the opportunity and support needed to update your skills and knowledge in line with Social Work England’s requirements.

We welcome applications from former social workers who:

  • Have a recognised qualification in social work.
  • Are committed to making a positive impact on individuals and the community
  • Are eager to update your skills and knowledge in the field.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants are required to declare:
