Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity dedicated to funding scientific research into brain tumours.
Launched in 2009, Brain Tumour Research is committed to funding sustainable research into brain tumours: the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40. It supports the UK’s largest dedicated group of laboratory-based scientists progressing world-class research into brain tumours, to improve treatments, survival rates and quality of life for patients and ultimately find a cure. With only 1% of the national spend on cancer research having been allocated to brain tumours, Brain Tumour Research is also the leading voice calling upon the Government and larger cancer charities to increase funding for research into brain tumours.
