Wills & Estate Planning, advising & assisting SME owners, military personnel & families, charities & care homes, business development.
After my first career in the Army (The Gordon Highlanders), and then over 20 years as a solicitor in local and other Home County law firms, I recently launched my own specialist Wills and Estate Planning Consultancy. This is based from my hometown Wendover where I provide bespoke, personalised and specialist legal advice and other services including:
I am a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which is a specialist body in this area of law.
I am very pleased to have a registered Armed Forces Covenant,
I am also a Campaign Supporter of Remember A Charity and am leading a project for them on charitable giving in Wills.
With current social distancing, lockdown and isolation, I am still holding all of my meetings face to face, but currently mainly now via videocalls (including skype, zoom, wattsapp, teams, and facetime) rather than in person. I plan to offer both in person and video meetings for clients and other professionals post-Covid.
The current videocall meetings offer:
My free Wills and Estate Planning Surgeries are also still taking place, offering a free half hour consultation to discuss Wills, LPAs, business succession planning and related matters. Again, these are now currently being held via videocall and whenever suits.
I have a wide level of business development experience (including time as the head of UK BD for Capita Trust Company in the City) and am keen to further and develop existing and new relationships with other professionals, such as financial and wealth management advisors, accountants, banks and solicitors offering non-private client services. This is based on working with like-minded people who share similar views in providing a wide level of bespoke services for clients.
If you would like to discuss any of the above - currently via a virtual coffee and catch up, but hopefully soon in person again! - please contact me at any time.
