The AI Skills Hub is an Innovate UK platform designed to support learning and development in AI. It offers access to curated training materials, sector-specific insights, and personalised learning pathways. The platform allows users to create their own tailored training pathway based on their role, experience, and interests.

With AI skills gaps being widely reported, and a lack of organisations training their workforce due to time and cost restraints, and a lack of tailored training available, the AI Skills Hub is designed to help address these challenges. Although the original Hub focused on agriculture and food processing, construction, creative industries, and transport, logistics and warehousing, its learning resources and the AI Skills Boost programme are now designed for people and organisations across the UK economy.

AI Skills Boost

The AI Skills Boost Programme is a free training offer built by leading industry partners and backed by Skills England and the Department for Science Innovation and Technology.

Courses take anywhere from 20 minutes to a day, fit around working life, and teach practical skills you can use straight away – whatever your role or technical background. They’re currently focusing on key skills for those in small and medium-sized enterprises, where AI adoption lags behind larger organisations – but there’s something for everyone across the 14 courses.
