Grants between £1,000 and £25,000 are available via the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF), which is part of The Farming Investment Fund (FIF) that provides grants to improve productivity and bring environmental benefits.
Farming Equipment and Technology Fund
The Animal Health and Welfare theme of the Farm Equipment and Technology Fund is now open for applications.
Read the detail of which Animal Health and Welfare items are eligible for funding.
Applications close at midday on 15th June 2023 and can be made via this online portal.
Who can apply?
You can apply for a grant if your business is in England and you are a:
- farmer
- horticulturalist
- forestry owner
- contractor carrying out services to any of the above
Grants for items on the Animal Health and Welfare list are available to farmers or contractors in the following sectors:
- beef cattle
- dairy cattle
- sheep
- pigs
- laying hens (including rearing and breeding farms)
- broilers (including rearing and breeding farms)
Other livestock types are not eligible for funding under the Animal Health and Welfare Pathway at this time.
