Become a Velocity Expert

Buckinghamshire College Group would like to invite your company to our Velocity Conference which is a bespoke and inclusive event where young people will experience a dynamic day collaborating with colleagues, shaping ideas, and presenting them for valuable feedback.

The young people will be demonstrating and developing their work ready skills, communication, teamwork and leadership in just one day. For you as employers, it will be a fantastic opportunity to identify potential employees for work placements, apprenticeships, or employment at the end of their college course.

The format

The format for the day will include you being part of an advisory team of employers listening to ideas from young people, advising them on how to move this forward, listening to pitches and making judgements on their performance. You will also have the chance to network with other employers and influence young people by given them advice and guidance to boost their skills for work readiness. This is a fast paced, professional, and enjoyable event for everyone involved, and your time and expertise will be highly valued. We really hope that you can join us for at least one of these days to help us to develop the young people that you want to employ.
