Fresh thinking for charities in 2021

Fresh thinking for charities in 2021

2020 threw many challenges in the way of charities and meant most couldn't carry out their charitable work.

As we look forward in 2021 with a renewed sense of optimism, it's crucial that charities adopt a fresh thinking approach to help them take the year by storm.

In April, a Professor of Voluntary Sector Management, Charity Trustee and Non-Executive Director at Jarrovian Group, a Business Strategy Advisor from Haines Watts, and a Financial Planner also from Jarrovian Group will join forces to help charities navigate the challenges and adopt a new approach to allow them to excel when fulfilling their charitable purpose.

The trio will deliver the webinar in three parts:

1. “Overview of the Voluntary Sector Economy - issues arising from COVID - winners, losers and resilience"

Professor of Voluntary Sector Management, Charity Trustee and Non-Executive Director Paul Palmer of Jarrovian Group will cover the challenges and possible opportunities impacting the charity sector.

2. "Meeting your wider responsibilities - Value for Money & Data Protection"

Business Strategy Advisor Jonathan Lane of Haines Watts will look at how charities can achieve value for money from their various resources as well as discuss how to respond effectively to their data protection requirements.

3. "Getting your finances in check"

Financial Planner Tony Fields of Jarrovian Group will share his expertise on how charities can make their money work harder, detail effective cash-flow planning measures and discuss investing and how it can make a positive difference.
