About Simon Breese from Consilium

Simon Breese works with businesses to improve their sales and marketing: from helping build market propositions which are both readily understood and compelling, to introducing straightforward measures to radically improve sales performance.

During 30 years’ in the IT industry Simon sold direct and via channels, established new markets, launched new products, and ran conferences, seminars and successful lead generation programmes.

Simon founded Consilium in 2006. Clients range from innovative start-ups in wholesale telecommunications and crowd-sourced maritime charts to established businesses such as Advertising Agencies and Financial Services outsourcers. Clients typically share a need to exploit the potential of their product or service by improving the effectiveness of their offer to market, and to increase their sales effectiveness.

Outside Consilium, Simon is a mentor to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 programme run by the Saïd Business School in Oxford, and to the entrepreneurs programme run by BCS the Chartered Institute for IT, he is also a member of the Association of Business Mentors.

About Ceri-Jane Hackling from Cerub Public Relations

Ceri–Jane Hackling is Managing Director of Cerub PR. Ceri-Jane has worked in PR for over 17 years and has worked with clients such as Debenhams, Mothercare and Birds Eye Walls. Ceri-Jane was Press Officer at a national charity before starting Cerub PR in 2003.

Cerub PR is a boutique agency which works across a variety of sectors including health, lifestyle, education and business. Clients have included Thomas International, The Clare Foundation and Buckinghamshire Business First.  The company also works with entrepreneurs to help them raise their profile nationally.
