A Member to Member Workshop hosted by Andrew Giles from Law Kiosk who offer a new approach to legal advice for individuals and businesses.
Your Business cannot afford to ignore its data protection obligations. Getting it wrong can result in criminal as well as civil liability (in addition to adverse publicity).
UK Data Protection law is a minefield of complex and confusing terminology. What’s meant by “data”? What’s the difference between a Data Controller, a Data Processor and a Data Subject? Is all data subject to data protection laws? Do I need to register my business with the Information Commissioner’s Office? What happens if I breach data protection law? Does any of this matter in light of Brexit?
All these questions, and more, will be answered in this workshop.
