Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered mobile applications and automation tools to support business operations.
• Design and build a mobile app for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including photo capture and PDF export functionality.
• Create an inspection app that generates material inspection reports from images and structured data.
• Develop an AI-assisted email response tool linked to the company's knowledge base.
• Support Hansford Sensors' digital transformation initiatives.
• Test, troubleshoot and improve applications to ensure usability and reliability.
• Work with colleagues to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Learn and apply new technologies related to AI, software development and workflow automation.
• Contribute to projects that improve efficiency, streamline processes and enhance customer support services.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Interest or experience in AI, app development, or automation tools.
• Basic coding knowledge (any programming language).
• Ability to learn new digital technologies quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical ideas to different audiences.

Desirable:

• Experience of developing mobile applications as part of a course, project or personal study.
• Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms or workflow technologies.
