Person Specification

Essential:

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to grow and develop within the company. Formal qualifications aren’t essential - what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to get stuck in. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting a busy professional team.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • A reliable and responsible approach to work, with pride in maintaining a well-run and welcoming office environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using common software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and similar systems).
  • An interest in finding smarter, more efficient ways of working — someone who’s not afraid to suggest new ideas.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across teams while also using initiative to work independently.
  • A flexible and positive attitude — happy to help wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.
  • A desire to learn and develop within the role, with opportunities to take on more responsibility over time.

Desirable:

While not essential, it would be a bonus if you also bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, office coordination, or team support role.
  • Familiarity with basic budgeting or invoice tracking systems (e.g. CMap, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
  • Experience managing office supplies, facilities, or working with external vendors and service providers.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
  • An interest in team culture, staff engagement, or helping to plan small internal events or initiatives.
  • Confidence using cloud-based tools or project management platforms (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Atvero, or Notion).
  • A practical understanding of data entry or document management best practices.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • A good sense of humour and a people-focused mindset — someone who helps create a positive office vibe.
