Responsibilities
Are you an experienced and inspiring presenter? Do you have the skills to plan and deliver events? We are seeking to recruit a confident, highly motivated, forward thinking individual to represent the College as our School Engagement and Events Lead. This exciting role is based at our Aylesbury Campus, with travel to all campuses and Buckinghamshire schools.
We are looking for a candidate to promote the College’s provision through inspiring young people and building key relationships with schools.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an confident presenter and excellent communicator both with colleagues , external partners and young people
- Lead on engagement and representation of the College at schools to support the recruitment of students to the College
- Be a point of contact for school enquires, provide assembly presentations and attend school career events
- Support the Marketing team in the organisation of recruitment events, including taster sessions, school tours and Open Events.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Formal Qualification At least 5 GCSE’s at Grade A-C (4-9), including English and maths (or equivalent)
- Educated to A level or Level 3 standard
- Possess a degree or professional business-related qualification
Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge and application of IT Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of creative design programmes e.g Adobe suite, Canva
- Knowledge of exceptional customer service and relationship management practices
- Knowledge of school and further education environment
Experience
- Demonstrable experience of working with a wide range and level of people
- Experience of working with young people
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
- Experience in working in a liaison or recruitment role
Skills
- Confident building relationships with a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders
- Proven track record in customer relationship management skills and high levels of responsiveness
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to present to large audiences
- Excellent administration skills, displaying an organised, methodical approach and attention to detail
- Analytical and evaluation skills
