A great day out for the whole family!

Bekonscot is set in 1.5 acres of immaculate gardens and finely detailed model buildings it perfectly captures rural English life in the 1930s. We are also proud to present our extensive gauge 1 model railway and 7¼” ride-on light railway, making us a great day out for the family and railway enthusiasts alike. Located in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire just outside of London we are an easy 40-minute train ride on the Chiltern Railways line out of Marylebone.

Owned and managed by the Roland Callingham Foundation, Bekonscot also supports local charities and to date has donated over £21 million to good causes. You will notice some upgrades to the village for the 2026 season, which we are excited to share, plus we have some great events organised.
