Chiltern Chamber serves the interest of businesses in the Chesham, Amersham and Chiltern region.
Chiltern Chamber exists primarily to listen, raise and deal with the concerns of our members. It also seeks to support businesses in meeting today’s challenges and those of the future. Our membership base and local businesses will be further supported by developing strategic objectives aiming to improve economic development. We also recognise that economic development and business investment cannot progress in isolation and therefore our strategy is holistic and inclusive of a variety of areas such as community and the environment.
To serve as the Voice of Business committed to the enhancement of economic prosperity and quality of life in Chesham and Surrounds.
The Chamber has three key strategic objectives and a number of closely interlinked objectives:
Supporting our membership base…
The Chamber would not exist without its members and therefore aims to enhance the members’ success. We help members navigate and expand their businesses in a challenging marketplace. We do this by providing a suite of useful services and benefits for members.
Chief among these is Networking. Networking with a group of like-minded individuals can be a powerful marketing tool. It also exposes you to information, as well as the thoughts, ideas and experiences of others.
Chiltern Chamber organises twice-monthly ‘Breakfast Club’ meetings, and monthly get-togethers which include a mixture of social, informational and topical events.
Our events are open to members and non-members, though we would urge non-members to consider joining the Chamber if they attend regularly and make use of our networking platform. Considering the number and quality of events, membership fees are very modest. We may levy a modest additional charge on non-members for our evening events.
We’ve been members of Chiltern Chamber for a number of years and found it a very rewarding experience. They are the voice of Local Business in the area with the community and politicians. As members we have found that it has helped open many new doors and opportunities. There has been plenty of socialising and great networking events along the way, but most importantly it has really opened our eyes to how as a local business we have a responsibility to our local community. We have been very honoured recently to have received a special recognition award from Chiltern Chamber for services to the business community and business growth.
