We are here for patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is here for patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
We enhance and complement the care and support delivered by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust to ensure patients, families and carers get the individual clinical, practical and emotional support they need to make the most of every day they have together.
All services are provided free of charge to patients and their families – this is only possible thanks to the continued support and fundraising efforts of so many individuals and businesses.
Every company, of whatever size, has something special to offer people living with life-limiting illness.
Whether that’s making a financial donation, becoming a committed corporate partner, donating goods & services, holding a fundraising event or employee volunteering, we would love to talk to you about the different ways your company can get involved
Any contribution you can make will make a difference to local families in need of hospice care and bereavement support.

It is important for charities to receive corporate sponsorship and support, but we also believe it benefits the sponsor as well as the charity.
There are some benefits to the organisation of supporting a charity, it makes us look good to the public, raises our reputation and accordingly gives some marketing benefits.
It is also important from a team perspective; we believe CSR is an integral part of our brand, and reinforces that we are reliable and ethical.
Further, it allows some excellent team bonding – whether that be a bake off, generating new clients leads through referrals as we pay a referral fee to charity of the referrers choice, or an inflatable run, which 11 members of the APS team completed this summer.
We chose to support the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity as they are local, and provide much needed care in the community.
"I remember saying just after Ray died, I felt really at peace in the Hospice, even though something so horrendous had happened to me. I just felt it was such a wonderful place to be and I actually plan to go back”
"For him it wasn't just the medical conversations. There was always someone around to chat...they were always there to talk. And there was always time, that was one of the most amazing things, they were never too busy to talk to you, and nothing was too much trouble. We even took the dog in!"
“You share that most intimate time of your life with these lovely people...they were just phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble to make Ray feel happy and comfortable."
“My Mother passed away earlier this year and spent her final days in the care of the Hospice so when I heard that the charity was opening a shop in my local town in Marlow, I didn't even give a second thought to offering our services. Members of my team at Globe Print, who were close to Mum, were only happy to help.”
