Home Counties Therapy is a private mental health and neurodevelopmental service based in Buckinghamshire, providing high-quality, compassionate support for children, young people, adults, and families across the UK. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychotherapists, specialist assessors, outreach workers, and prescribing clinicians, all working collaboratively to meet the individual needs of our clients.

We offer a wide range of services tailored to support emotional well-being, neurodivergent presentations, behavioural difficulties, and mental health concerns. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, we aim to provide a safe, understanding, and effective space to explore difficulties and move forward with confidence.

Our services include:

Specialist Assessments: ADHD, Autism, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Educational Psychology, and wider diagnostic consultations.

Therapeutic Support: Individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, family therapy, parenting support, couples therapy, DBT therapy (including DBT skills groups), and support for anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, emotional regulation, and low mood.

Addiction Support: Therapy for individuals and families affected by substance use or behavioural addictions. We work closely with rehab services and are able to organise full rehab placements, offering pre-admission planning, family liaison, and aftercare support.

Outreach and Mentoring: 1:1 support for young people in the community, including school refusal, transitions, behavioural challenges, and confidence-building.

School and Professional Support: In-school consultations, classroom observations, EHCP evidence, tribunal reports, and staff supervision and training.

Clinical Input: Medication reviews and prescribing via our nurse prescriber, clinical team input for complex cases, and multi-agency collaboration.

Sessions are available both in-person at our Aylesbury clinic and online nationwide. We offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and after-school, and accept both private referrals and funded arrangements with schools, local authorities, solicitors, and case managers.
