I would thoroughly recommend the High Wycombe Escape Rooms at The Works. I had booked two escape rooms - 'The Last Testament' and 'The Crazy Cat Lady' for a party of 6. We were a little unsure of what to expect but we were made to feel so welcome by the friendly staff, we soon felt at ease. Both rooms were really great fun, with lots of hidden clues and puzzles to solve (which we did as a team), before we could 'escape'. We took a break for lunch and enjoyed a great selection of sweet and savoury food which included delicious milkshakes. We will definitely be back!
I wanted to take my team out to do something different and the High Wycombe Escape rooms were just perfect! It was Crazy Cat Ladies vs The Last Testament. We were all newbies, but the teams did great and both escaped – even if my team did it with 9 seconds to spare! Both games were challenging but great fun and there was the odd clue along the way when we started to struggle. It was really interesting to see how the teams worked under a time restraint to solve the puzzles. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone and the post-game food was also delicious. One of my team summed it up perfectly – “I had a lot of fun with my work colleagues, followed by a delicious meal and a cocktail! What’s not to like!”
I met Roger Bolton from The Works last summer in Aylesbury and was very impressed by the venue, fabulous food, and service with a lovely, friendly team. I decided to take my company to High Wycombe for our Christmas party, not only did we had an excellent afternoon enjoying the range of stunning gelato and a few drinks, but also trying to figure out the festive Escape Room which was great fun and the whole team thoroughly enjoyed the visit – perfect for a team meeting & activity.
5 Stars! Brought the team for a day of work, food and fun - a great place to regroup when we usually just see each other on Teams. Great venue for a work session, everyone enjoyed lunch and the escape room was lots of fun. Thanks to the team @ The Works, great day - we’ll be back!
