A bit about us

Legge-Work Consultancy Ltd has been created to provide business support at a management level, for SMEs and charities that are looking to do everything from steady the ship to growing the operation. So many successful Enterprises are founded and operating off the strength of their owners skills and knowledge in their chosen area of operations, but that doesn't mean anyone prepared you for the intricacies of running an organisation! We are here to work with you to find the best way forwards for your business or charity, at a pace that works for you, so you can be happy doing your job and know that you have your concerns covered.

 David Legge, Principal Consultant and Managing Director, has a work history in running a niche contract and custom solutions manufacturing business, as well prior roles in Sales, Marketing and Accountancy. This broad experience base, along with a desire to meet and help people succeed, shown through his volunteer work in both the educational and charity sectors at both management and customer-facing levels, results in a powerful combination of skills to assist any business owner.

The key focus of Legge-Work Consultancy's services are the following:

Business strategy and development - including a focus on how to plan for Director involvement within a growing business or charity, as well as restoring the work-life balance.

Financial management and cost accounting - helping develop a strong financial base for the business or charity, allowing you to make sure all your costs are covered, enabling you to reduce financial stress, earn more and grow the organisation, whilst satisfying and growing your customer base.

Business efficiency - offering an insight into planning the efficient running of your organisation at all levels, examples could be; product and service delivery, staff management, process planning, right first time delivery and many more. This is usually specific to each enterprise, but there are always bottle-necks to be overcome.

Process management and creation - this service can be used at many levels. From creating a set of processes to enable smoother operations, more streamlined products and services, preparation for Standards Accreditation or just to reduce the level to which your business is vulnerable to human error. Processes help underpin so much that we value about our organisations, but they're often not written down and understood in full by staff, leading to overly demanding time constraints on owners and managers, preventing the ability to get on with running and growing the company.
