Within the area of France known as 'Champagne' there are some 30,000 grape farmers who sell their output to the major champagne houses or to the local cooperative. The blended product either enjoys massive global marketing support or is deployed for supermarket own label brands. 

There are a small number of Growers who have the experience, equipment and cellars to make their own champagne under their own name. The resultant wines are single vineyard champagnes that have a distinct and unique taste and flavour.

When these wines come from a village that is classified as a 'Grand Cru' village they are truly memorable.  Moore Champagne imports champagne from small family enterprises in grand cru villages and offers them for sale with the intention of beguiling the  champagne enthusiast's preferences and  showing that there are reasonably priced interesting alternatives to the global brand names that dominate the market.

You will not find our wines on any shelf in a supermarket yet they are better value both in terms of taste and cast.
