We exist to educate and inspire future generations by bringing the Paralympic heritage and its stories of human endeavour to life.
The National Paralympic Heritage Trust was established in July 2015 to protect and share British Paralympic Heritage. Since we started we have achieved all of this:
We want people to be inspired, keen to learn more and motivated to try new things. Above all, we want to change attitudes to disability. We want to work with businesses who share our aims and ideals and who want to help us to educate and inspire people to create a society that is seamlessly inclusive in the next 5 years. We have created a business club to help us to do this. It's called DICE Club ( after the Paralympic virtues of Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality). If you want to deliver on your Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy at work then you need to join DICE club and benefit from our expertise.
It is important to inspire change by example and the first 4 galleries of this Global Virtual Paralympic Museum has been co-created by SEND trainees, SEND school pupils, Paralympians and many disability related local charities and individuals, supported by some museum professionals.
