We're a not-for-profit  care farm enterprise committed to enabling countryside interaction and learning new skills, especially for those rarely able to access them. 

Our passion is to share farming and countryside with others to promote growth in learning, confidence and self-worth. Based on a traditional, working family farm, we provide ongoing opportunities for young adults with learning difficulties through Care Farming (therapeutic use of farming practise) and Special Interest educational visits for schools and youth/community groups.

By caring for animals (goats, donkeys,cattle,hens etc) and maintaining the countryside (eg coppicing; work on bee-hives & bird boxes) in a non-threatening place, our service users feel a sense of purpose and inclusion. These can be one-off visits or structured programmes over many months with supported learning and reflection built in.   It really makes a difference!

We now have an excellent wood workshop facility, and superb toilets, hand-washing and changing place, so enabling the most physically disabled to join in.
