HMRC is providing wider and easier access to online services, together with an abundance of help and guidance.
The support on offer from HRMC includes:
- E-learning packages which can be accessed at any time and worked through at an individual’s own speed. These are designed for people who have started their own business. They can be tailored to specific trades/professions and copied onto your website, allowing your customers access to the information.
- Webinars (online presentations) which can either be pre-recorded or viewed live. These provide you with the opportunity to attend seminars via the internet. The live webinars can be booked through HMRC for set dates and times and you get with the chance to take part in a Q&A session afterwards. Recorded webinars are available to view now, or at a time most convenient for you.
- HMRC’s You Tube page which features lots of bite-sized tax information videos.
HMRC are also inviting small or medium-sized high-tech businesses (1 – 249 employees) to attend a free workshop on the incentives available to encourage them to boost their investment in R&D and innovation.
