Businesses can now apply for the King’s Awards for Enterprise 2025 - get a royal seal of approval and global recognition for your business!
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are recognised as the most prestigious business awards in the UK, with King Charles III continuing Queen Elizabeth’s legacy by giving His Majesty’s name to this award.
Buckinghamshire is full of exciting and innovative businesses, so it's no surprise to see that there have been many winners of the predecessor Queen’s Awards in the past, including Global Infusion Group, JUNE Medical, Martin Audio Ltd, Mediplus, Melford Technologies, and Trio Healthcare.
Entries for the 2025 King's Awards close in September, and we at Buckinghamshire Business First encourage all businesses to think about submitting an application.
King's Awards categories
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of:
- innovation

- promoting opportunity through social mobility
You can apply for more than one category, and they are completely free to enter.
The application deadline is 1pm on 12th September 2024.
Almost all businesses of all sizes and in every sector can apply. Confirm your eligibility here.

Past winners have cited increased growth, sales, exports and staff morale as a result of winning.
So, if you want all of that, plus success on the world stage, global recognition of your achievements and a shiny trophy to show off, you need to enter The King’s Awards for Enterprise!
Top tips for your entry
In the words of one previous winner, Angela Spang of JUNE Medical, "it’s good business to apply, it’s better business to win"!
So, how to write a winning application?
Some of the top tips gleaned from past winners include:
- Infuse your entry with a passion for what you do
- Tell a coherent and inspiring story about your business
- Answer the question that is asked - not the question you wish was asked!
- If at first you don’t succeed, try again!
