Pinewood Studios has celebrated its 90th anniversary, marking nine decades at the heart of the global film and television industry from its home in Buckinghamshire.
One of Buckinghamshire’s most iconic businesses has reached a major milestone, with Pinewood Studios celebrating 90 years since it first opened its doors in 1936.
The world-famous studios marked the anniversary with a special screening of Casino Royale, bringing together 500 guests from across its community and the screen industry.
Since opening with just four sound stages in 1936, Pinewood has grown to 31 stages and has been the creative home of major productions and franchises including James Bond, Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The milestone celebrates Pinewood’s extraordinary history while looking ahead to the talent, creativity and innovation that will shape its next chapter.
