Redundancy support hub for employees and businesses owners

We know that sadly many businesses are facing the prospect of having to make redundancies. This can be an incredibly difficult and distressing process.

Many business owners find that they don’t know where to start and how to support their team through this process. As a team we want to ensure that we can both support businesses who may unfortunately have to make redundancies and support individuals who have recently been made redundant or are potentially facing the threat of redundancy.

What redundancy resources are available?

We have pulled together all our support pages concerning redundancy support into one hub. You can now find out what support and services are available in Buckinghamshire for businesses and individuals, including:

  • Where to get guidance on the redundancy process
  • Advice and guidance available for your staff
    • Careers advice
    • CV and interview preparation
    • Training courses
    • Job postings
  • Services available to support staff health and well-being
  • Signposting legal advice and any additional support on offer from BBF members such as outplacement services.

In addition, we also signpost additional information and support from organisations including JobCentre Plus and ACAS.
