Register on the Government’s SME supplier service

The Supplier Locator Service lets businesses promote their products & services to 400,000 potential buyers.

The UK Government has set itself the aim of ensuring that £1 of every £3 spent on government contracts goes to SMEs. To support this aim, the Supplier Locator Service has been developed to help businesses promote themselves and potentially secure government contracts across a wide range of sectors.

Businesses can promote their products, services, solutions, accreditation, white papers, case studies and success stories to get their name out wider to 400,000+ government and public sector buyers.

An annual registration fee of £395 + VAT applies to businesses wishing to sign up.

A raft of categories have been reopened for businesses to register as a supplier under, including:

  • Facilities Management, Property and Estates
  • Energy and Environmental
  • IT/ICT and Internet
  • Communications / Telecommunications
  • Catering and Vending Supplies/Services
  • Conference and Events Supplies/Services
  • HR, Training, Learning and Development
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
  • Office Solutions
  • Packaging, Print, Design and Promotional Services
  • Marketing, Comms, Media, PR and Research
  • Professional and Specialist Services
  • Transport and Fleet Services/Supplies
  • Health and Social Care Services/Supplies
  • Educational Services/Supplies
