Should we think about fresh ways of recruiting?
Finding the right people to join our businesses can be a challenge!
I am so excited to welcome back guest speaker Darren Burns, National Recruitment Ambassador for the Timpson Group. Darren was due to speak at our March event last year but it was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Darren will share how Timpson actively recruits and retains ex- offenders and veterans, whilst challenging us all to consider the benefit of engaging with marginalised groups. Including the challenges they have faced and overcome during the pandemic. Darren manages the Timpson prison training academies, and overseas the transition from custody and into the workplace. He also provides consultancy services for like-minded businesses and helps educate others in the benefits of employing ex-offenders.
As always, there will plenty of opportunities to network with other businesses in our breakout rooms where you can make new contacts.
Suggested donation of £10 per person and you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business. Bring your own refreshments and nibbles, meet and network with other businesses while supporting local people living with multiple sclerosis.
Thank you again for continuing to support our work through attending events like this, with your contribution you are ensuring that we can continue to provide help and support to people living with MS
