As you may be aware, it will be one year in May since the GDPR became law.

To mark the occasion, Haines Watts are teaming up with Machins Solicitors to host an event surrounding the effects of GDPR so far, the impact on your organisation, and what you should look to expect. 

At Haines Watts, we are committed to helping ensure that you have taken every reasonable step to achieve compliance with the new obligations of processing data lawfully. By attending this event, you can make sure that you are on top of your responsibilities regarding the new Data Protection law. 

Jonathan Lane of Haines Watts will be joining us to give an overview of how businesses can look at their ways of working from a data protection aspect, how they need to assess the risk and provide practical working solutions for their business. 

Sarah Liddiard from the Machins Corporate Commercial team will focus on some of the key commercial impacts and run through the top five legal points arising since the introduction of GDPR. 

Registration will begin at 7.30am for an 8am start. The event will then finish at 9.30am, allowing you to get on with the rest of your working day.
