Leading Teams – The secrets to best practice leadership

Leading Teams – The secrets to best practice leadership

Are you ready to lead a competitive workforce?  Join this summer networking event to hear from industry leaders on the benefits of modern leadership, network with fellow business leaders and offer your leadership comments and experiences to a panel of experts.

Organised by Buckinghamshire New University in partnership with Buckinghamshire Business First and the Institute of Directors, Bucks and MK, this event has been designed for leaders of organisations large and small to discuss the leadership behaviours that drive inclusion and diversity and importantly, improve financial performance, productivity, and innovation.

Speakers:

Our speakers have approached leadership from both ends of the spectrum, from a small business to a large corporate:

Simon Cooke, founding shareholder of APAM, a specialist in UK real estate investment, asset management, financing, accounting, and client reporting.

APAM’s diverse range of clients from around the world include high-net-worth individuals, institutions, private equity funds, and banks.

Founded in 2009, APAM has now grown to a multi-disciplined team of 40 based in London, Manchester, Cardiff, and Glasgow and is now part of a multi-billion pound enterprise.

Loraine Martins MBE is Director of Diversity and Inclusion for Network Rail and has rolled out leadership training in this 40,000 employee company.

A multi-award winning leader of diversity, equality, and inclusion from recruitment to training and staff development and supplier diversity in construction, engineering, and the public sector.

Loraine was awarded an MBE in June 2012 for her work at the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), leading the equality, inclusion, employment, and skills during the development, design, and construction of the Olympic Park and venues and facilities for London 2012.
