• Penny Dablin, Senior Copywriter, Enterprise Marketing Solutions, researched and wrote the UK-equivalent of the Harvard Business Review on the Internet of Things for global CEO mentoring organisation, Vistage. She will be introducing us to the Internet of Things, explaining how it is already being used within the Facilities Management sector, and the possibilities it could hold for the future of FM.
• Joe Miles, Managing Director from Hausmate Ltd will be explaining what an “intelligent building” looks like, why integrated devices are so important and how the Internet of Things can help with the maintenance and monitoring of buildings, all supported by practical, real-life examples.
• Ben Jackson, Chairman of Quainton Railway Society Ltd, The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre will be taking us through the FM challenges he faces running and maintaining a working steam railway, museum and the extensive grounds, and how they have overcome these challenges.
