ComputerXplorers South Bucks inspires young people through coding, AI, Space and digital creativity linked to local future industries.
At ComputerXplorers South Buckinghamshire, we help children discover the creative, imaginative and future-focused side of technology through hands-on experiences in coding, robotics, AI, game design, Minecraft, digital creativity and emerging technologies.
What makes us unique is our strong connection to the local Buckinghamshire innovation ecosystem. Our programmes are inspired by exciting industries shaping the region, including Space Technology linked to the Westcott Space Cluster, Film & Creative Media around Pinewood Studios and the new Marlow Studio, alongside the growing impact of Generative AI.
Why We Exist?
We believe children should become creators with technology, not just consumers.
Our mission is to help young people develop the confidence, creativity, problem-solving and digital skills they will need in an AI-powered future. We focus not only on technical learning, but also on helping children leave energised, curious and proud of what they have built.
In a world of increasing passive screen time, we aim to create more opportunities for children to design, invent, experiment and collaborate.
How We Work?
We partner with schools, parents and local communities across Buckinghamshire to deliver after-school clubs, workshops, weekend academies and holiday tech camps.
Every programme is designed to balance:
creativity and learning
fun and future relevance
structure and imagination.
Children might design Mars rovers inspired by the UK space sector, create digital movie scenes inspired by local creative industries, or build AI-powered projects that encourage experimentation and innovation.
Our approach combines strong educational value with exciting, real-world themes children genuinely connect with.
Local, Trusted and Community Focused
As a locally rooted business, we understand the importance of community trust, parent relationships and strong school partnerships.
Our programmes are shaped around local needs and interests of Buckinghamshire families and schools. We work closely with local educators, organisations and industry connections to make technology learning more relevant, inspiring and accessible.
Inclusive and Supportive Learning
We are proud to create supportive, welcoming environments where all children can thrive, including neurodivergent learners and children educated outside traditional settings.
We recognise that every child learns differently and we aim to create experiences that build confidence, curiosity and a genuine sense of achievement.

"This is the best group my son has ever joined. Its turning his passion for gaming into practical skills for his future. The tutor is excellent, very calm and knowledgeable. Its an inclusive, friendly, relaxed and very fun space. My son is given the freedom to experiment and learn in his own unique way. I 100% recommend it for girls and boys. Its the highlight of our week"
