Business Resilience Fund launched by Brunel

The Business Resilience Fund will provide £5,000 to £10,000 of funding to cover the academic costs of a project that will deliver clear outputs to support the company’s plans for their recovery and future growth.

Brunel University London has launched a new initiative to provide fast-track research and innovation support to SMEs in their COVID-19 recovery challenges by accessing relevant academic expertise at Brunel.

The Business Resilience Fund will support projects involving, for example:

  • new product development
  • materials testing
  • technology validation
  • new service or business model adaptation.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, businesses should have two years of filed accounts and turnover in excess of £100,000 per annum.

Brunel’s aim is to support businesses that have a clear innovation strategy, and will provide ongoing support to access funding for further collaborative R&D from government bodies such as Innovate UK.
