Library services to support your business

Buckinghamshire Libraries offer a wide range of resources and information specifically targeted towards the business customer. You may be thinking of starting your own business and want a step by step guide on how to go about it, you may already have an existing business and have issues with marketing or health and safety, or it could be that you are just looking for a career change. Whatever your problem Buckinghamshire Libraries have the resources and expertise to point you in the right direction.

Cobra - a comprehensive business support scheme

Among the features provided is Cobra, a one-stop shop for advice on every aspect of setting up and running a business. This includes information on target markets, customers and competitors, start-up costs and training, as well as information on how to write a business plan and prepare a budget. Whether your business is worm farming or being a chocolatier, there is help available for everyone.

There is also 'Law & Rights', a legal database which is available in all Buckinghamshire libraries, and also available remotely to library members. The database is updated on a daily basis and covers everything associated with living, working or engaging with life in Britain.
