Join the launch of the new Agri Living Lab at Westcott and create solutions that address global agri-food challenges, and discover grants aimed at adding value to crops or livestock by increasing productivity and improving the environment.

Grants for farmers to improve crops or livestock

Apply for an Adding Value grant for farm buildings, machinery or equipment that will add value to crops or livestock by increasing productivity and improving the environment.

The grant is available for producers to add value to eligible agricultural products after they have been harvested or reared.

Eligible agricultural products include:

  • arable and horticultural crops (including food and non-food crops)
  • livestock products (including dairy, meat, skins and hides)
  • non-food crops (including fodder, fibres and flowers)

The grant closes to applications at midnight on July 21st 2022.

Discover the Agri Living Lab: your real-world testing lab at Westcott

The new Agri Living Lab at Westcott Space and Innovation Business Park is a space for innovating, co-creating, demonstrating and delivering solutions that address global agri-food challenges.

The Agri Living Lab is a collaboration between Satellite Applications Catapult and Harper Adams University which brings together research organisations, the public sector, agri-food stakeholders (the problem owners) and technology providers (problem solvers) to create transformational sector-wide solutions.

Businesses can join the opening event of the Agri Living Lab on June 23rd in the brand-new Building 4000 facility, which presents a fantastic opportunity to discover how the services on offer at can support sustainable agriculture and business growth.

During your time at the event, you will have an opportunity to introduce your company, network and discuss partnerships and collaborations with organisations that are shaping the future of agriculture.
