Innovate UK Smart grants
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £25m for game-changing and commercially viable R&D innovations that can significantly impact the UK economy. This funding is from Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation.

Innovation loans from Innovate UK
Innovate UK innovation loans are for highly innovative late stage research and development (R&D) projects with the best potential for the future. There must be a clear route to commercialisation and strong commercial potential to significantly improve the UK economy.
Projects must lead to innovative new products, processes or services that are significantly ahead of others currently available, or propose an innovative use of existing products, processes or services. It can also involve a new or innovative business model.

Eureka Disaster Resilience Programme (R&D)
Apply for a share of up to £1m to develop technologies in the field of Disaster Resilience, Response and Recovery, in partnership with organisations from participating Eureka countries.
The aim of this competition is to support international collaboration on R&D projects that create innovative products, processes or services for commercialisation.

Knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP) - apply for a share of up to £9m
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme allows a UK business or not-for-profit organisation to partner with a ‘knowledge base partner’, which is either a UK higher education (HE) or further education (FE) institution, research and technology organisation (RTO) or Catapult.
The KTP partnership brings new skills and the latest academic thinking into the business to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project.

Funding for collaborative R&D
Innovate UK is investing up to £2.5 million to fund collaborative research and development (CR&D) projects focused on industrial research.
This competition is open in theme with funding available across all sectors for projects that meet the eligibility criteria.

Funding for the development and adoption of sustainable technologies for the manufacturing of medicines
Innovate UK is to invest up to £15m to support the development and adoption of sustainable technologies for the manufacturing of medicines.
The aim of this competition is to drive innovation in sustainable medicines manufacturing across three key pillars: green chemistry; circularity; and productivity and resource efficiency

Quantum technology solutions for determining position, navigation and time
Innovate UK will invest up to £6m in innovation projects to accelerate the commercialisation of position, navigation and timing measurement products relying on quantum technologies.
