HS2 Ltd has launched a new jobs site to promote the 20,000+ roles that the project will support over the coming years, ranging from engineers and construction workers to apprentice and senior management roles.
A message from HS2 Ltd:
"The new HS2 Jobs Board offers those looking for work or a change of career the opportunity to search the very latest vacancies with HS2’s construction partners and station contractors delivering Phase One of the railway.
"This is first time that all the opportunities to work directly on HS2 are available to search in one place.
"The platform allows prospective candidates to search for vacancies by region, or by specialism, so they can quickly identify opportunities that match their criteria. Importantly, these jobs aren’t just for engineers and construction workers, they stretch from apprentice level up to senior management, covering a variety of disciplines.
"We want the workforce we build to reflect the diverse nature of the country HS2 will serve and are actively looking to encourage underrepresented groups into the industry, who may not have otherwise thought about a career in infrastructure. The HS2 Jobs Board is intended to help ensure these groups have full visibility of opportunities available.
"Visit the HS2 Jobs Board here.

Watch HS2 Meet the Contractor webinars
"Last year, HS2 held a virtual Meet the Contractor event, which saw over 120 meetings and 24 webinars delivered.
"Videos of the webinars are now available to watch online to give businesses more insight into how they can benefit from the project. There should be something in there for businesses of all types.
"All 24 webinar videos can be found on YouTube."
