Read about a virtual AGM like no other!

Discover motivation like never before thanks to our amazing members, catch up with inspiring stories of local innovators, and learn to use the virtual hosting platform we used on the day for your own events.

What a great evening we had at the Buckinghamshire Business First AGM – with hundreds of members attending virtually, there was plenty of opportunity to make valuable connections and learn about some of the great innovations happening locally.

Innovation and diversification

We shared some fantastic videos from local businesses that managed to innovate and diversify through the different challenges they encountered during the pandemic. Cloudy IT, Orchard View Farm, ANT Telecommunications, Lata Lata and Bluebell Label were just some of the businesses that stepped up with great ideas in a time of great need.

Getting ‘Involved’ with a new virtual platform

We showcased an exciting new virtual platform called ‘Involved’, which helped us to host the AGM and make it an enjoyable and unique experience.
This platform enabled us to share lots of new information, hold votes at the AGM, create networking opportunities for businesses in the Networking Lounge, and lots more.

If you are interested in finding out more about the platform for future events you are organising, FoxWylie Agency can give you a free walkthrough of the platform, as well as an overview of other platforms available. See this offer here, or email kelly.shipp@foxwylie.com or call 01908 104114.

News and initiatives from Buckinghamshire Business First

We also shared the latest news and initiatives from Buckinghamshire Business First, along with our 2019/2020 Annual Report. To read all about the work we have been doing and our plans for the future, you can read the full Annual Report here.

Tell us what you thought of the AGM

For those of you who were able to join us, we’d love to hear your feedback. It’s the first event we have carried out remotely using the ‘Involved’ platform, so let us know what worked well, what didn’t and any thoughts you have for improvements. We will share ideas with the developers of the site – so that they too can learn from our experiences. Drop us a email with your thoughts to info@bbf.uk.com or complete this quick survey.

Did you make new connections at the AGM?

If you made a new connection at the event which results in a new business relationship, don’t forget to share this with us, we love to hear success stories from our members. Email us at info@bbf.uk.com with the details.
