Community Impact Bucks’ annual conference

The conference theme is how charities and businesses can benefit from doing things together. It will help you understand how the two can develop fruitful relationships with businesses, including for the purpose of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

With the challenges that both sectors face in this modern world, this is an excellent opportunity for charities and businesses to meet and learn about current CSR models and practices and what businesses are generally looking for when they engage with local charities.

McMillan Coffee Morning at Leigh Duncan Solicitors

Leigh Duncan are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning in their offices in Beaconsfield new town on Friday 30th September from 10am onwards. There will be teas, coffees home-made cakes and treats for sale with all money taken going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Older People’s Day

In celebration of Older People's Day on Saturday October 1st, Aylesbury Vale District Council have produced a Holiday at Home programme of activities from around the Vale.

Programme entries range from walks and talks and tours to gentle exercise, demonstrations, interest groups and taster sessions including some events specially arranged for this programme. Most events are offered either free of charge or for a donation.

The programme commences on Monday 26th September and runs to Saturday 1st October. See all the activities planned for the week. Where applicable, there will be mentions of how to get involved with each activity, for instance, by volunteering.
