Extreme weather and flooding

If your business is in a flood risk area, do what you can now to prepare for a flood. You can sign up for flood warnings if your home or business is at risk. The service is free.

The National Severe Weather Warning Service helps people know what to do in the event of severe weather.


Are you prepared for a cyber attack?

Find a list of cyber security resources and advice to protect your business.

Government Cyber Security Service: The UK government offers a free service for organisations to perform simple online checks. This service helps identify common vulnerabilities in your public-facing IT, such as your IP address, website, and web browser.

South East Cyber Resilience Centre (SECRC): The SECRC is a police-led initiative aimed at helping businesses enhance their cyber security. It also promotes the best practices and advice from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the cyber arm of GCHQ.

This pilot was funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and its am is to improve our capability to support businesses to build their resilience and thrive in the face of threats and emergencies.
