Corporate Nature Network Launch: Supporting Local Nature Recovery

Corporate Nature Network Launch: Supporting Local Nature Recovery

We are delighted to invite you to our inaugural Corporate Nature Network event, bringing together a selected group of business leaders with interests across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to explore how organisations can contribute to local nature recovery, and the benefits this generates to all involved.

This exclusive morning event will take place at Windmill Hill, on the beautiful Waddesdon Estate on Tuesday 22 September, and will welcome around 25 attendees from a range of sectors.

The session will focus on supporting delivery of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and will include the launch of our online portfolio of nature projects.

What to expect

During the morning, we will:

  • Raise awareness of the area's Local Nature Recovery Strategy and showcase a pipeline of nature projects available for corporate support
  • Explore business perspectives – understanding what organisations are looking for when investing in local nature initiatives
  • Hear case studies from leading nature organisations and businesses already supporting nature recovery
  • Share practical examples of how partnerships can benefit both nature and corporates
  • Connect with peers through informal networking opportunities
  • Help shape a new network designed to match businesses with impactful nature recovery projects

Guest speakers

We will hear from representatives of leading conservation organisations and local businesses, sharing examples of projects supported by corporates and the outcomes achieved for both nature and business. We are pleased to welcome our speakers Estelle Bailey MBE, CEO of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust; John Shaw, MD of Chiltern Rangers; Victoria Miles MBE DL, CEO of MK Parks Trust; Chris Bridgman MBE, Gardens in the Sky; and Richard Collins, CSR Accreditation.
